Asha Ashanti is an African-Jamaican screenwriter, actress, and singer. Melody Jones was the drummer in CW Riverdale's Josie and Pussycats. Asha is also known for her role as Zadie In the Netflix smash Locke and Key. She is the author of HURRICANE Songs of IRIE. In this dramatic debut of a new actress, Asha Bromfield leads readers to the very heart of Jamaica as well as into the heart of a young girl trying to reconcile her family and herself set against the background of a storm.
